I get asked occasionally what books I’d recommend for someone in a specific area if they were getting up to speed on new technologies and such. Usually I point to a handful of books I strongly recommend as a baseline. Personally, I’m better learning a new technology by picking up a good book and following some real examples… then having a nice reference sitting next to me going forward.
I created a new page on my site of books I’d recommend. It’s not filled with a ton of books, no more than 4 per subject area.
