Gravatar This video is pitiful. The guy starts talking about OS 9 and below, then automatically switches to OS X, and starts talking about a clover-leaf, period thing? Huh? What the hell is he talking about? All applications are independent processes on Mac OS X, and I can "killall -9" all day long in the terminal. This thing is horribly out of date, and is just flat out wrong.

Apple hasn't marketed Mac OS 9 since before 1999. Back then Microsoft had 1998 and Windows ME out.. Not exactly the best operating systems. Let's be a little smarter than this here.

There are legitimate Mac arguments, but this guy is just a moron.

Gravatar macs suck! They keep getting worse every time. dell has beat the shit out of them. the only reason mac survives is because of the i pod

# re: New Apple commercial... why Macs stink 7/2/2007 1:06 PM Joe
Gravatar Okay...Apple is so great that they are having to put Windows on their computer (OS 10). Wow...amazing (not).

Apple's "ready out of the box" isn't correct...some apple computers have 2 parts "2 different boxes" and the trial software changes with who you get your computer from...not all companies put all the trial stuff on the computers. Also, the trail stuff doesn't need to be taken off the computer because it will act normal, as with a mac...all that stuff will slow it down so much that it won't run.

Apple is so great that the processor is to slow to even get a virus (and there aren't any viruses in C).

Gravatar um...ok guys...if macs are really that slow and worse than pcs...than why do all the high end movie editing/sound editing/graphics editing run on mac only? movie-final cut pro HD suite is the BEST thing out there...pros use it...sound editing...Logic is one of the best digital recording solutions around...and bands on labels use it...so yah i mean if you are a hardcore gamer...than yes macs do not make any sense for you...go get a pc and have fun. Yes i know pcs too...I am writing from one right now, and i have built them for over 10 years...but i still reserve that macs have their well earned place in the media industry...more than pcs can claim at least
