Wow, today marks three years since I started blogging... my blog-o-versary I guess. It still feels like only yesterday I decided to jump on the bandwagon, create a blog and post my first entry: My first blog....

My intention was for this to simply be a personal online journal. Little did I know what I had to say actually interested people. I'd like to extend a big "thank you" to all those who subscribe and read my blog... I never expected to see Feedburner report that I'd have 600-800 unique daily readers of my blog (during weekdays... 400-600 on the weekends). Those numbers are quite humbling... so again, thank you to all my readers. A special thanks to those who have participated in the conversation by leaving comments... I love seeing comments (uh, not comment spam, real comments) in my inbox that kicks off a conversation.

Over the last three years, my view on blogging and why its important to me. I'm not a firm believer that there's no better medium to get your voice out... be it your opinion, some cool new trick you figured out in Visual Studio, or whatever soapbox you decide to climb upon and go off on some rant. These days, my challenge has been to have time to write as there's just so much I'd like to post... ah... maybe the next year will be a bit easier? There are so many things I'd like to do with my site/blog and I hope to have time to implement them over the next few months.

Alas, where does the time go...

Gravatar Congratulations AC! Your blog has evolved into a very valuable informational site. For us trailing behind you seem to be one step ahead pointing us to solutions when we need it. Please keep molding it and doing what you're doing.

Gravatar That's awesome, Andrew - congrats!

But don't kid yourself - if this year was any indication to you, *next year* will be even worse. Sharepoint will be out, and you'll barely get time to *breathe* then, let alone post.

Again, much congrats, and get in touch with me - It turns out I need a speaker down here for October if you can do it. You pick the day.

Gravatar Hey AC, Congratulations.
I hope this means the beginning of another 3+ years and 1000+ more great posts.

Keep up the great work pal.
I learnt a great deal from your postings.

All Comments Are Filtered & Moderated
Unfortunately comment spammers are just too effecient and are constantly dirtying up blogs with irrelevant and unwanted comments trying to improve their standing on search engines. All comments on this blog are moderated. I do not censor comments, but I don't approve comments with vulger language or those soliciting products. Most of the time comments are approved within a few hours of being submitted with the only exception when I'm traveling.

Why are you asking for my email address?
The only reason I'm asking for your email address, which isn't required to submit a comment, is to provide a gravatar if you've created an account for yourself and associated your email address with a small image. If you have a gravatar created for the email address you submit, it will appear next to your comment. Otherwise nothing will appear.

What is a gravatar?
A gravatar is a "globally recognized avatar." You can get more information about gravatars, as well as create your own for free, at www.gravatar.com. You can also view my gravatar here.
