Gravatar May have been a sad, sad, SAD year for us, but that's not the point:

GO NOLES!

# No love for Kevin Smith from UCF 12/7/2007 3:22 PM John Ross
Gravatar Tebow is a beast, but its a shame that Kevin Smith from UCF didn't get an invite. The guy is 180 yards away from breaking Barry Sanders single season rushing yards record.

You coming down to Orlando for the bowl game?

Gravatar John-
Nope... only one bowl interests me: national championship. All the others fall into a glorified, and expensive revenue generating losers bracket.

# re: Tim Tebow for the Heisman Award 12/9/2007 9:58 AM HE15MAN
Gravatar Wat to go Timmy!! You can add your HE15MAN Trophy to the rest of your accolades recieved. You are a cult figure and most men would die to be like you. Go TEBOW and Go GATORS!!

Gravatar Too bad you feel that way about bowl games. Does that extend to the regular season as well? After all, if you know you're not going to compete for the MNC, what's the point of playing all those games?

It's nice to know the Heisman voters can occasionally get past the best-player-on-the-best-team mentality and induct a player of Tebow's calibre instead.

Gravatar Hey Now AC,
That is funny. Tebow is the best player this year & deserved the Heisman.

Gravatar Chris-
Heck no that doesn't extend to the regular season games. They obviously mean something as they are used to set the bowls. But win/lose the bowl game, they mean nothing to the sport except the title game.

Gravatar Tebow won't win the next two years, though. I bet that Jake Locker (UofW) pulls down a Heisman in his next 3 years.

Congrats to your Gators AC!

Gravatar No way Locker wins a Heisman. Washington would have to do a lot better than o-fer in the Pac-10.

But hey, dream a little (Husky) dream...

GO DUCKS! Lycra Nation, rise up!
