TechEd North America 2009 - Back to the 1 week format

THANK GOODNESS! I hated the 2 week format the moment I heard about it. Well it looks like next year's TechEd in Los Angeles has been switched back to one week! The new date is May 11-15, 2009.

Hello,

I don't agree. If you have only one week to spend I want to focus. Small pieces of a wide range of topics is not really my cup of tea, I want to go deep and stay on track.

I can understand your argument about wanting one leg in each camp, at least knowledge of administration from a developer's perspective, but I would much rather include some administrative classes in a pure developer week.

Same goes for administration, though, they also should have some knowledge of development, if nothing else than to understand where developer's get their weird ideas.

One of the worst things about TechEd is conflicting classes, where you want to attend two sessions at once. That does not get any better with twice the number of classes.
