Love this show… man it would be fun to go. I like CNET’s coverage so far. A few short takes:
- Prismiq MediaPlayer: The MediaPlayer/Recorder provides TiVo-like abilities to pause live TV and record hours of shows without a service fee. The discless design means the video is stored on PCs on your home network; it can then be burned to DVD or shared with Prismiq’s MediaPlayer.
- Motorola DCT6208 HD DVR: Looks like everyone is on the DVR bandwagon. I have to say, I just don’t see how subscription-based services are really going to survive.
And would it be a CES with out Bill Gates showing off some cool new tech? I don’t think so!
