Customizing VS.NET: Adding your own "New Project/Item Wizards"

I’ve always wanted to take the time to sit down and modify the VS.NET wizards to include my own templates. I want new classes to have all the regions I usually use with XML comments, new ASP.NET files to be laid out in a certain way, for my MCMS2002 projects, be able to select a pre-populated custom placeholder template with the six overridden methods and my standard private methods for adding/editing/updating/deleting/sorting items in a list, etc. Finally found a few good references:
