European Best Practices SharePoint Conference - Agenda Set and SharePint Information

Looks like the agenda is now set in stone for the European Best Practices SharePoint Conference in London the week of April 6th, 2009. I have three sessions I’m doing, including a few panel discussions. I’ve updated my speaking page on my blog with my session numbers and times… but here they are for those who are interested:

  • DE203 - Understanding Differences between the Use of Field Controls and Web Parts in Office SharePoint Server Publishing Sites Monday, April 6th, 2009 : 2:45p - 4:00p
  • DE208 - Building High Performance Solutions on Microsoft Office Server 2007 Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 : 2:45p - 4:00p
  • DE211 - Go Live! Launching your MOSS Publishing site (co-presented with Spencer Harbar ) Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 : 11:00a - 12:15p

We’ll also be bringing the SharePoint by Day, SharePint by Night social event to London for the show! Tentative plans are to hold it Wednesday night, April 8th, 2009. We’re still working on a venue close to the conference center… but should have it set within a month or so. Stay tuned! Don’t worry about RSVP’ing yet… when we have a venue, I’ll blog it for you to leave a comment to RSVP.

And as a sidenote, I got word that a few of my sessions were picked for TechEd 2009 North America in Los Angeles, CA the week of May 11, 2009. Here are the ones I’m pretty sure I’ll be doing (will be confirmed at the end of February):

  • Building High Performance Features and Solutions on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
  • Building a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Publishing Site: Real World in Action (co-presented with Ryan Duguid from Microsoft and Spencer Harbar , MVP MOSS)
  • Extending the Content Query Web Part to Aggregate Data Across Site Collections and External Sources (co-presented with Todd Baginski , MVP MOSS)
