I’ve posted about this project twice here and here in the last week. I’ve only taken a few minutes here and there to read the feature list and blogs posts between my full-time job, working on the book, and spending time with my family… but what I saw both on the site and in Phil’s posts on his blog, coupled with some time thinking it over in my 1.5hr round-trip commute each day, has convinced me that Subtext is the way I should go. There are just to many similarities between what I want to do on my site and what the Subtext guys are doing. All in all, there are 7 (now 8) of them and just 1 of me (now none). So, I offered, and was accepted, to join the Subtext development team.
I won’t be able to participate a ton in the next few weeks as my top priority is to really jump in and focus completely on wrapping up the book. Then I’m diving in with both feet into making Subtext the blog it’s destined to be! I also have a new skin in the works, thank to some help (sheesh, she just interviewed me and ran with it… and it looks *phat*) from a coworker and friend… very talented at that too!comments powered by Disqus
