New Office default format is XML

Scoble with the tease all day yesterday… and it was announced last night at 12.01a EST. The default file format for Office 12 will be XML. The current binary format will also be kept. What does this mean? Lots of cool stuff… XML is more extensible than bindary, it’s more open, and is bidirectional compatible.
