New SharePoint Server newsgroups are here (including Web Content Management)

As I mentioned a few weeks back, Microsoft is adding a handful of new newsgroups for SharePoint, specifically around SharePoint Server 2007. For those of you MCMS folks, the new newsgroups are the place to go for Web Content Management (successor to MCMS 2002) questions/support. The new newsgroups are (we’ll see more coming later I think): microsoft.public.sharepoint.general microsoft.public.sharepoint.design_and_customization microsoft.public.sharepoint.development_and_programming microsoft.public.sharepoint.setup_and_administration How do you access them? Use your news reader of choice and configure it to point to the public newsgroup server: NNTP Server: msnews.microsoft.com No authentication required.
