Previously I had a personal policy to not actively blog about my feelings on politics or current events and try to stick to things like technology, development, and general cool stuff. I think I did a fairly decent job. However, over the last few months, I've been itching to write some stuff as I feel passionate about various things from the re-election of President Bush, to social security reform, to what's wrong with the Dems...
At any rate, I don't see why I should keep my mouth shut when my blog was intended to be my online voice of who I am. The ability is there to syndicate only specific categories of posts. So I've added a Politics & Current Events category to my blog and re-classified some recent posts to that category.
I meant to say this originally. In a sense am I being a hypocrite because I told Kevin Schofield I unsubscribed from his blog because of his Bush-bashing and commented to Scoble how I appreciated him not doing political stuff? I don't think so. I'm not going to bash people, I'm going to keep it positive. But if someone wants to stop reading my blog because of some things I say, I'll take that risk.
