Another date is on the calendar for the Florida code camp circuit, this time the stop is in Orlando for the 2nd annual code camp! The Orlando Code Camp 2007 will be on Saturday, March 24th at the Seminole Community College. What’s cool and unique about this code camp is it’s going to have a few internationally recognized speakers on the docket because the following week is Dev Connections in Orlando! Already seen people like Carl Franklin commit to attending and presenting! Way cool!

For the third code camp in a row in Florida, we’ll have a dedicated SharePoint track. So far we’ve got two of the usual SharePoint presenters on tap (myself and John Holliday), and one new code camp presenter: Michael Bollhoefer. Here’s a breakdown on the current SharePoint sessions:

  • Building ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts for WSS v3 Sites - Andrew Connell (MVP & Author)
  • Advanced ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts for WSS v3 Sites - Andrew Connell (MVP & Author)
  • SharePoint 101 - Michael Bollhoefer (about time we got a introductory session on SharePoint… thanks Michael!)
  • Inside the Visual Studio extensions for Windows SharePoint Services - John Holliday (MVP & Author)
  • Building Document Management Solutions using WSS v3 Content Types - John Holliday (MVP & Author)

Want to single out my fellow speakers for a moment. First, I want to welcome Michael Bollhoefer to the SharePoint blogging scene with his WSS v3 flavored blog! Also, kudos to John Holliday for wrapping up a major milestone in the upcoming Professional MOSS 2007 Development book by WROX. This is one I’ll definitely be preordering!

See you in Orlando!
