SPC2008 or ODC2008, that is the question

Earlier I blogged about two upcoming conferences for SharePoint professionals: the Office Developer Conference 2008 (Feb 10-13, 2008 - San Jose, CA) and the SharePoint Conference 2008 (March 3-6, 2008 - Seattle, WA). Lawrence recently blogged about the two on the SharePoint Team Blog just this week. What if you can only hit one... which one should you focus on? This is actually a really easy thing to decide, even though neither has a session list posted. SPC2008 is more suited to administrators / IT professionals and IW (information workers) where ODC2008 is more in line for developers. Even though ODC doesn't have "SharePoint" in the title, don't let that mislead you... SharePoint will most certainly be represented. Where am I going? Well, I'm hitting both as I'll be presenting at each one. As a developer, I'm ~really~ looking forward to the ODC2008 conference in San Jose and can't wait to see the session list!
