SharePoint Conference APAC - plans and social aspects

Now down to less than one week away before I head out for my first trip to Australia for the SharePoint Conference APAC in Sydney on May 14-15. Over the last week I've been working with my co-presenter Sezai Komur on our demos and general transition stuff. It's gone quite smoothly considering we only get to exchange live emails in the early AM & PM hours when our days overlap. Meredith (my wife) and I leave Jacksonville, FL at 10a Friday (May 11) morning and don't arrive in Sydney until early Sunday morning. Being my first trip to Australia, I decided I'd do a little blog-diary of my experience and the trip (not every day you get to do a 14hr [LAX->Sydney] & 19hr [Sydney->LAX] flight!). I'll post pictures and just some general experiences here. In addition to the blog series, Angus has taken the initiative to setup some tags for blog posts and flickr pix. If you're attending, make sure you tag your posts and pictures with SPCAPAC. You got it! Technorati tags: spcapac, australia, sharepoint...
