TechEd 2007 Orlando ... I'll be there, you should be too!

I’m pumped, and it’s still three months out! This will be my third straight TechEd, second just down the road from me in Orlando. This year will be different though… why? Well, I’m honored to have been selected as a speaker in the Office track! Going to be a busy week already.

First, I’m co-hosting a pre-conference session the Sunday before TechEd with Mindsharp’s Bill English : SharePoint Server 2007 & Windows SharePoint Services v3: Overview, Deployment, Configuration and Management . Then I have two breakout sessions scheduled, one on Building Advanced Web Parts for SharePoint v3 the ASP.NET 2.0 Way & another on Building a High Performance .com Site on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 .

What, you think I’d get out of Orlando without talking about WCM? You’re crazy! For you customers who are looking to upgrade from MCMS 2002 to WCM, I’m hosting a chalk talk: Migrating your Content Management Server 2002 Sites to Web Content Management in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 .

And that’s not all (hopefully). I’ve also submitted a Birds of a Feather session that builds off my post from back in December 2006 on using SharePoint Features and solutions to build your Publishing sites the smart and structured way: Prescriptive Guidance for Developers Building Publishing Sites in MOSS 2007 . But to get this one through, I need votes! Please go to the BOF voting page and vote for my BOF session today: !

All sessions in this post were linked to my speaking page since the abstracts aren’t live on the TechEd registration site.

If you are planning to attend, make sure you register early… the last two years they have sold out by sometime in April/May so run, don’t walk, to the registration page: !
