Back in January I blogged about two VHT’s I had been working on that were published on MSDN. Recently two more were published for WSS 3.0 developers:
- MSDN Visual How To: Adding Code-Behind Files to Master Pages and Content Pages in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Learn how to use code-behind files in custom content pages in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc411726.aspx
- MSDN Visual How To: Creating, Deploying, and Debugging Custom Timer Jobs in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Learn how to harness the power of custom timer jobs in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc427068.aspx
Hopefully the latter one will provide some help to those of you working on custom timer jobs in SharePoint (WSS 3.0 or MOSS 2007). I’ve been getting quite a few comments and emails about my timer job blog posts & articles (here, here, here and here) since they have been posted. I’ve got another article that’s much more in-depth that will be on MSDN soon… I’ll let you know when that is available as well.
More VHT’s coming soon! :)
