Around this time last year, I attended my first SharePoint Fest conference in Seattle, an event I had wanted to be involved in for quite some time. And you know what? It was worth the wait! This is one of the most professional and well-run events in the community puts on in the SharePoint space.
It’s about that time for the 2018 show… and I’m thrilled to be involved with the event again! Join me the week of August 20-24 in beautiful downtown Seattle!
As announced earlier today, I’m excited to share that I will be delivering the day 2 keynote at the conference. What’s my topic? Continuous Collaboration: how community and partners are shaping the evolution of SharePoint and Office 365
In recent years we keep hearing from Microsoft how the community is shaping SharePoint and Office 365. Who’s the community? That’s you, me, partners, ISVs and other people who live and breathe these products in our work life. When you dig in you see how much influence we are having on the product and how this really is a collaboration with Microsoft in building and evolving the platform. We’re no longer just collaborating in SharePoint, but we’re collaborating on SharePoint together with Microsoft!
I can’t wait to share my thoughts on this, not only how it’s impacting our work but Microsoft’s work as well, and see some tangible examples on the impact it has on developers, IT Pros, implementors and partners alike!
Yeah… you read that right! I’ve got a packed workshop schedule at SPFest Seattle this week. The week will start with a full-day workshop followed by two half-day workshops… all focused on the SharePoint Framework!
This is the in-person version of my on-demand video course Mastering the SharePoint Framework.
This workshop great reviews from SPFest in Washington DC, with 94% saying they were “very satisfied” or “exceeded expectations” with comments like “Excellent session. Very informative. Great presentation skills. Highly technical. So glad I attended” & “This is the best session for me in SPFest”.
After spending a full day with me (well, I hope you do at least), on Tuesday I’ll have two half-day workshops. One will be for those who want to leverage Angular in SPFx projects and the other will be on leveraging React. We’ll go deeper than what we can cover in the full-day workshop. The Angular workshop will cover Angular 6 as well as Angular Elements.
In addition to the workshops, I have two breakout sessions:
- Building Client Web Parts with the SharePoint Framework with Angular
- Be a SPFx Ninja with these Performance, Debugging, Logging and Telemetry Tricks!
The descriptions for these can be found on the site if you head over to the sessions page and filter on my name.
I hope to see you in Seattle and chat all things SharePoint Framework with you!comments powered by Disqus
