In just a few short weeks time, Microsoft’s SharePoint conference of the year will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. Now it’s worth mentioning this conference, the week of May 21-23, is not the same 10,000+ SharePoint Conference from years ago. This is run by a third party and will be much smaller.
After two days of workshops on the preceding weekend (May 19-20), there will be breakout sessions packed by presentations by developers, IT Pros, business users for all sorts of SharePoint people!
I will personally have quite a packed scheduled at the show presenting a workshop, breakout sessions and hosting a handful of podcast episodes!
Plus, if you register using the discount code CONNELL, you’ll get a discount no the registration.
Full-Day Workshop (May 20): Mastering the SharePoint Framework
Join me for a full day of my instructor-led workshop version of my on-demand video training course for developers. From the latest registration numbers I’ve seen, I wouldn’t delay too long if you’re on the fence as it’s filling up quite a bit!
The new way Microsoft wants us to customize and extend SharePoint is to use the SharePoint Framework. This model brings client-side development as a first-class development model complete with packaging, deployment and real a full deployment lifecycle. But this model is very different from what traditional SharePoint developers have been used to. This workshop is for developers, both seasoned SharePoint server-side developers and web developers, that want to be immersed in the SharePoint Framework.
