In this 131st episode, AC talks with Andrew Liu of Microsoft about some of the improvements with DocumentDB since last on the show in episode 99 in October 2015. After first talking about the new support for MongoDB, we then tackled the topic of performance and scale, specifically some new capabilities that the DocumentDB team has added like partitioned collections and planet scale with global databases. Finally we discussed the pricing changes announced in April 2016 and the most recent support for automatically expiring data with TTL settings.
