New SharePoint Training Courses at the Ted Pattison Group

Ted Pattison Group announces MOSS administrators course, SPA401: Professional SharePoint Server 2007 Administration, written and taught by Shane Young.

SharePoint Administration: A few months ago I blogged about Shane Young joining up with us at the Ted Pattison Group to write a MOSS administrator’s course. The class is already scheduled for the first delivery on October 29th in Tampa, FL (with a few more dates in Cincinnati, Boston and Reston, VA planned). The course, SPA401: Professional SharePoint Server 2007 Administration , is written and taught by Shane… one of the best and most entertaining SharePoint admins out there. If you’re looking for admin training, you’ve got to check out this class. Heck, I’m really interested to sit through it myself!

Want a to see something amusing? Check out his latest post where he has written a poem about his class. Hilarious!

SharePoint Advanced End User: Not only did Shane come over to TPG, but his awesome wife Nicola came over too! Nicola has a class of her own on advanced end user topics: SSE301: Building Enterprise Solutions with SharePoint Server 2007 . There aren’t many end user classes on the market today… and those that are out there aren’t really advanced… real remedial stuff. Not Nicola’s class! Check out Nicola’s class… next offering is December 3rd in Tampa. Nice to have at least one instructor without an ugly mug like the rest of us . :)

Web Content Management Development: I’ve had a few questions come in about my MOSS 2007 Web Content Management development class recently. Yes, we will have more public hands-on classes! We’re working on the schedule for 2008 now and should have a few days up within the next few weeks. As dates are published you’ll find them on the TPG schedule page (linked below) as well as in the panel on the right-hand side of my blog. Right now the only one we have published is in Tampa, FL the week of January 28. I’m also teaching an online version via Live Meeting the week of December 10th if you can’t wait that long. Want more info on this class such as the differences between the online & hands-on class as and some student testimonials… check this out: Get more information on the WCM courses!

Oh, last but not least, I’ll be teaching our GSA401: The Great SharePoint Adventure class with Ted in Redmond, WA later this month (October 22-26). This is an intense class with extra hours… you want to get a FULL week of SharePoint development topics? This is it… it’s so intense, two of us teach it! These are always fun… there’s still room available if you’re interested. I’m also teaching this class with my pal John Holliday in the Silicon Valley the week of December 3rd.

OK, I lied… one more thing… stop by and see us at our booth at SharePoint Connections in Vegas!
