I just finished adding a handful of new links to my WCM Links & Resources page. Thank you to everyone for the nice comments you’ve left on that post, in email, or as posts in your own blogs… I’m just happy to see the community is getting use out of this!
I’ll have some additional information on getting more information on Web Content Management in MOSS in another week or two! Anyone who’s interested in WCM, form developers to designers, from administrators & site owners to content authors & owners will have something to gain from this. Stay tuned!
Also, I mentioned around TechEd 2006 that I was working on a new MOSS book with my Mindsharp colleague Bill English. I’m contributing two chapters to the MSPRESS MOSS 2007 Admin Companion:
- WCM from an administrator’s point of view
- migration from MCMS 2001/2002 to MOSS 2007 WCM.
I’ll give you a sneak peak: if you have MCMS 2001, upgrade to MCMS 2002 SP2. I think I just broke my copyright for one sentence (at least it’s worded differently in the book)! :)
This book is now listed on Microsoft’s learning Web site:
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Administrator’s Companion (ISBN: 0-7356-2282-5)
