I’m heading back to the European SharePoint Conference at the RAI in Amsterdam, this time with a full-day workshop on the Monday tutorial day and a breakout session on the Thursday.

Microsoft offers two primary tools for building Copilot agents — Copilot Studio and the Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit for VS Code — and rarely compares them directly. Mark Rackley and Andrew Connell build the same agent with both, live, across a full day, covering instructions, knowledge sources, actions, connectors, licensing and cost.
Some users live in chat, others still rely on portals and pages. This session shows how the SharePoint Framework is expanding to support declarative agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot, letting developers build visual, interactive components that work across both experiences.
